Who Is Andrew Garcia? Andrew Garcia is an eclectic, dynamic individual with a wide variety of passions and skills. Andrew's diverse background and adventurous spirit drive him to find meaning and wonder in everything he does. Andrew was born on September 9th, 1986 in Ohio, USA. He grew up all over the globe and has lived in many countries including Australia, Spain, Mexico and Taiwan among others. He speaks English, Spanish, French and Japanese. Having graduated from Ithaca College ('09) with a Bachelor of Science in Communications, Management Design, Andrew has been given the opportunity to utilize his range of skills in a professional environment. He has a passion for web/graphic design with an emphasis on new/social media. Although Andrew places a special emphasis on enjoying life, which he articulates through exploring the outdoors, skydiving, art, video production and DJing/Music Production- he can think of nothing more influential than the love of his life (and fiancee), Shelby. iSeeResults is an experimental web app currently in development. It was designed by Andrew Garcia with sponsorship from Dr. Dennis Charsky at Ithaca College. The premise of iSeeResults is to create a visually driven alternative to modern search engines. Today, the framework for modern search design is entirely list-built and text-heavy. Andrew wanted to create something different that the average end-user could relate to through a visual context. The vector based animation strengths of Adobe Flash made it the ideal environment to develop iSeeResults in. Combined with PHP and the open Google Search AJAX API, iSeeResults will functionally overhaul the way we run our searches. iSeeResults is expected to be beta launched by the end of 2009. |

Andrew and Shelby are avid outdoor enthusiasts with thousands of hours logged in the wild all over the world. They enjoy many activities ranging from skiing and snowboarding, mountain hiking, walking through forests to hiking through the jungles of South America and many others. Andrew is the son of Kelly and Mauricio Garcia and brother to Natalia Garcia. Half-Colombian and half-American, Andrew was raised all over the globe having grown in up almost a dozen countries.
On his mother's side he has both cajun and Canadian blood with roots in Germany, England and other European countries. On his father's side (Colombian), Andrew has no less than nine uncles and aunts. With such an extensive bloodline, Andrew has quite a large family based all over the world.
In 2008, Andrew met the love of his life, Shelby Chubb to whom he is now engaged to be married. On October 10, 2010, Shelby and Andrew will be wed and starting their new family.
Andrew and Shelby designed and maintain a lifeblog called Inseparable Nomads which is regularly updated with their wedding plans and adventures. There they post pictures and stories about all their travels and the amazing journeys they undertake. Feel free to check it out and comment on any post you find interesting.

Andrew Garcia is a DJ and Producer with strong roots in the Electronic Dance Music community. He is acting president of the Electronic Music Guild of Upstate New York and has been heavily involved in the scene since late 2002.
As a promoter and musician, Andrew strives to spread his passion for electronic music through organizing and participating in events and keeping up with the latest in Prog/Tech-House as well as other genres of EDM.

Andrew is now a graphic designer and web designer/developer where his skills in audio, video and multimedia production come together to create webapps and other artistic pieces. Andrew utilizes Photoshop, Flash, and even the pen to pour his artistic soul into the various media available.
